EX.CO

The Main Idea

EX.CO presents a video technology platform for media companies that want to manage, distribute, and monetize video across web, mobile, connected TV (CTV), and digital out-of-home (DOOH) environments. The website places particular emphasis on machine-learning-based yield optimization for programmatic video revenue, rather than positioning the product as a simple hosting or playback service.

That focus makes EX.CO most relevant to publishers and media organizations with an established advertising operation. Its offering combines monetization tools with a web video player, video content management, livestreaming capabilities, and reporting features, although prospective users should confirm which components match their technical and commercial requirements.

What Visitors Can Explore

The site outlines several connected product areas:

• A machine-learning yield engine for programmatic video auctions across multiple screens.
• A web-focused online video platform with customizable vertical and horizontal playback experiences.
• CTV auction optimization, bid enrichment, and connections to a primary ad server.
• A video CMS for uploading, organizing, and curating playlists, including contextual recommendations described as LLM-based.
• Livestreaming support using HLS, RTMP, and RTP, with playback across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
• Reporting tools covering video activity, impressions, revenue, and other performance indicators, plus API access to video experience data.

The page also highlights captions, adjustable controls, searchable video metadata, and a content marketplace. These details suggest that the platform addresses both operational workflow and monetization, but the website does not provide enough information here to assess implementation effort, pricing, contractual terms, or support coverage in practice.

Potential Uses

A publisher could use EX.CO to add or expand video inventory, place monetization around web video, or improve programmatic decision-making for CTV and DOOH. The CMS and contextual recommendation features may also help editorial teams surface more relevant video across a large website. Livestreaming and scheduled reporting broaden its potential use beyond standard on-demand clips.

The platform may be less suitable for small teams looking only for a basic video host or standalone player. Its value appears tied to audience scale, advertising operations, and the need to coordinate content and yield across several distribution channels.

Audience and Fit

EX.CO specifically presents solutions for CTV and DOOH publishers, advertisers, and ad management partners. The strongest apparent fit is a media business that already has video content, programmatic demand, or a primary ad server and wants a broader technology layer around those activities.

Before You Rely on It

The website includes customer-reported performance figures, but those results are not a substitute for independent validation. Ask about pricing, minimum volume requirements, supported ad-server setups, data handling, implementation responsibilities, reporting detail, and the availability of the features relevant to your channels. Overall, EX.CO appears worth evaluating for established media companies pursuing cross-screen video monetization; smaller organizations should first determine whether its scope and deployment model are proportionate to their needs.
